For example, those interested in acquiring a job in the energy field would have an advantage if he or she also has a background in general business areas such as marketing, accounting, and personnel management. In addition, he or she needs to understand the larger context of sustainability as a new model for social and economic life. Finally, it’s also important to understand the particular issues and problems that confront those committed to sustainability in a world that is becoming, but is not yet, green.
