Crew Chief (Leader) training will provide the groundwork for new/existing weatherization workers interested in understanding and expanding their knowledge of weatherization. Topics covered in this course include “Role of the Crew Leader”, “Safe Work Practices”, “Maintaining Quality Control”, and much more.

The curriculum for this course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analyses (JTAs). This training session is primarily in class with additional technical training in advanced blower door diagnostics, a review of current installation methodologies and combustion safety instruction. Students will be required to pass a final exam on the last day of training in order to receive a certificate of completion.

This is a 32 hour session taught over 4 days.
BPI (15 CEUs); CSL (Code Review 1 hour)(Workplace Safety 2 hours)(Business Practices 2 hours)(Energy 1 hour)
