This program offers the background knowledge and hands-on experience required for the control of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment in commercial buildings with programmable controllers. These systems can also control lighting, security such as door locks and cameras, and building power data. Students will have hands-on experience with EasyIO and Niagara Controllers as well as courses in the Internet of Things and Cisco.

Graduates will qualify to test for the MA Oil Burner Technician License, EPA 608 Certification, and MA 2nd Class Fireman’s License.
