Center For Energy and Environmental Studies Bachelor’s Degree Program

Boston University

We offer natural science and social science concentrations in environmental science, environmental analysis and policy, and physical geography. Students pursuing these concentrations take a common set of lower division foundational courses, followed by more advanced and specialized upper division courses focused on individualized areas of interest. Interdisciplinary studies, real-world skills, and problem solving are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Examples of specialized topics that students pursue include energy and environmental systems, environmental policy and resource analysis, transportation systems, remote sensing and geographic information systems, biogeography, hydrology, and climatology.
