A Quality Assurance Manager is establishing a new standard for assembling electric vehicle batteries based on customer feedback. Measurements and tests are modified and assembly and inspection equipment are calibrated to obey the new standards. It takes several weeks for the plant to become acclimated to the new processes but customer complaints have decreased as a result and the plant improves their standard of quality.
