Successful Women in Clean Energy Program Begins Second Round

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is accepting applications for the second pilot round of the Successful Women in Clean Energy Program. This program funds training programs that prepare low- and moderate-income, incumbent, unemployed, underemployed and/or dislocated adult workers for sales positions in the clean energy industry.

In 2015, MassCEC launched the Successful Women in Clean Energy Pilot Program. The initial round of the program trained women in clean energy sales and provided the trainees with a six-month paid fellowship. Participants were able to earn the following certificates upon completion of the program: HeatSpring Solar Sales, Green Jobs Academy Energy Efficiency, OSHA 10 and NRF Customer Service and Sales. MassCEC is looking to continue the program for a second round and select 1-2 training providers to prepare 10-20 women in sales and marketing positions in the clean energy industry.

Details and application info is available at MassCEC’s website.
